We have enjoyed reading and immersing ourselves into our new class text - ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’.
The children have written fantastic abstract noun poems and explored new vocabulary that they can now add to

We have enjoyed learning all about the Anglo-Saxons in our History lessons and even enjoyed an Anglo-Saxon themed outdoor day. In Science, we have been constructing our own electrical circuits.
In Art, we experimented with tints and shades of colours by mixing black and white into the primary colours. This activity has started off our new topic 'Light and Dark'.
Our PE lessons this half-term focused on Hockey (outdoors) and dance (indoors).
In RE, we have enjoyed examining the key events in the Christmas story and we have also studied key events in Jesus' life (The Presentation, Jesus' Baptism and The Transfiguration). The children have shown how well they can empathise with characters in the stories. They have enjoyed creating comic strips and performing roleplays.
