Communication
Communication is key and we would rather you speak to us sooner rather than later if there are any concerns or worries. We also welcome any good feedback!

Ways to communicate with school
- Text messages and emails will be sent to parents if necessary. Please ensure that up to date mobile numbers and email addresses are held on file in school. However, we are conscious that sending out too many messages can be obtrusive so therefore we will endeavour to keep these to a minimum.
- Every Friday parents will receive a succinct weekly Friday email from their child's year group teachers with reminders and information pertinent to the class. Dates are also forwarded to parents as reminder
- Every fortnight a 'sway' newsletter is emailed out to parents and also found on the school website.
- Please look at the school website for updates especially on Class pages and to find out more about the curriculum.
- A member of school staff is on the KS1 playground every morning to take messages and an SLT member is also on duty. All teachers dismiss their classes at the end of the school day. If you would like to have a quick conversation with the teacher, we ask that you stay behind to ensure that teachers have safely handed over pupils to parents.
- Please call the school office on 0121 464 1730 or email enquiry@stedward.bham.sch.uk or teacher@stedward.bham.sch.uk to book a longer appointment with the class teacher. Messages can also be sent to the class teacher via these emails. However, parents will not be able to contact staff directly through their work email.
- Mrs Kennett has the head@stedward.bham.sch.uk by way of feedback...positive comments are always welcome.
