Safeguarding and Child Protection information for Visitors

Visitors and volunteers are very welcome at St Edward's Catholic Primary School.  However it is our legal and moral responsibility to ensure that the security and well-being of our pupils is uncompromised at all times.

We are committed to protecting our pupils form harm and safeguarding their welfare both in and out of school.  To ensure this, we ask that all staff, visitors and volunteers share this commitment and follow the school's  safeguarding policies and procedures in order to ensure that they know what their duties are for keeping children safe.

All visitors are expected to sign in on arrival, using the school's electronic signing in device and familiarise themselves with the safety procedures and expectations for when they are on site.  These can be found in our visitors leaflet which you will be given on arrival.  A copy can also be viewed below.

Mobile Phones and Mobile Technology

To protect our children, we ask that you do not have your phone out or use it during your time in the school building or areas where children are present.  If this is an issue, please contact a member of staff on arrival.

Further details can be found in our Mobile Technology Policy.
