Mastery Maths EYFS

In Reception we follow a Mastery Maths scheme to explore number knowledge and to ensure the children are secure in basic mathematical concepts.  By concentrating on numbers to 10 the children develop a secure base on which to build on. The children will be sorting, counting, adding, subtracting and subitising (recognising amounts without counting). We will also be looking at patterns, shapes, measure and time.
