Digital Leaders

What is a Digital Leader?

A digital Leader is a pupil who is part of a Digital Leaders Team within the school, whose role it is to support the development of computing.

St. Edwards Digital Leadership Team will meet monthly with Mrs Taylor to

-Promote computing and the use of technology across the school

-Provide help to our peers and teachers when needed

-Be positive role models and advocates for online safety in our school 

-Give opinions of what is working well in school and what we can improve on

-Discuss any current computing and online safety issues

-Lead assemblies / provide peers with up-to-date information 

As Digital Leaders, we strive to: 

-Be committed to team work

-Help peers and staff in computing lessons

- Model effective communication (listening, body language)

-Lead by example

-Provide important information to others

-Help Mrs Taylor to raise awareness of computing and online safety, across our school

Our DL Team have been busy working with Mrs Taylor, to promote Safer Internet Day, on Tuesday 7th February, 2023.
