Children's Mental Health Week
Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place this week between the 1st to the 7th February 2021. The theme is Express Yourself. Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.
On Wednesday (3rd February), it is 'Dress to Express Yourself Day'. The children can wear bright colours to school/to the daily zoom calls. Miss Broadbent has sent an email out to all classes to inform them of this. The idea is simple – use colour to express yourself by wearing a colourful outfit.
Resources for Children's Mental Health Week can be found in a folder on your child's Bgfl launch page titled - 'Children's Mental Health Week - 1st February.'
